Lunch & Learn: Xtended Hydraulics
Xtended Hydraulics is excited to announce the development of the X-Quill™, a fully retractable, automated, injection quill that allows for the injection of DRA agents into the pipeline flow without interfering in the process of cleaning or “pigging” the line. The Quill is equipped with position sensors and WIFI controls to allow for quill insertion into the pipeline for the chemical injection, and then removal of the quill once the injection is complete. The result will be less trucks in the field, better product flow, and extended pipeline life. Independent third-party testing has been completed at the Saskatchewan Research Councils’ (SRC) high pressure, high temperature, closed-loop lab, to prove the operation and abilities of this one of a kind technology.
