SIMSA will be hosting our AGM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in the Terrace Room at Prairieland Park.
The event will feature a keynote presentation by David Doerksen, Senior Vice-President & Chief Marketing Officer at Cameco Corporation.

David Doerksen Biography:
David was appointed senior vice-president and chief marketing officer on October 11, 2024. David
provides executive oversight of an international marketing team which develops and executes the
marketing strategy for Cameco’s suite of nuclear fuel products and services.
He has been with Cameco since 1988 and held increasingly more senior positions in marketing,
corporate strategy, treasury, and business development before assuming his current role. Prior to
joining Cameco, David held various positions in finance and business development with a major
international oil and gas company.
David is currently a board member of the Nuclear Innovation Institute, and a past board member of
SREDA and the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation Investment Committee.
