The Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, SIMSA, and Saskatchewan Mining Association are hosting a lunch for Saskatchewan Mining Week. The keynote address will be from Sam Farris, President, K+S Potash Canada.  Sam will present on “Growing Opportunities”

Agenda:

Doors open - 11:15 a.m.

Buffet Lunch - 12:00 p.m.

Keynote - 12:30 p.m.

Wrap up - 1:30 p.m.

Sam Farris joined K+S Potash Canada in August 2011 as Production Manager, and was appointed Vice President and General Manager of Operations in July 2012. He assumed the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager, Bethune Site in July 2017, and became President and General Manager, Operations in July 2018.  Since January 2022 Sam is entirely focused on the role of President to support our growth plans.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Thermal Science, both from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to joining K+S, Sam worked at the Mosaic Belle Plaine Mine in Operations and Major Projects for 11 years. He and his wife Lynnette live in Regina.
