For over a decade, Jeff Desjardins and his team at Visual Capitalist have used data storytelling to explain the world’s most transformational trends in business, investing, and society. In this presentation, Jeff Desjardins - Editor-in-Chief of Visual Capitalist - will cover the rate of data growth in society and its implications, such as increased noise and information overload. Then, he'll show how data storytelling has evolved to cut through the noise, giving potent examples of how data visualization and other techniques make it easier to understand the big trends that matter - using resource sector examples.
