Virtual Tradeshow 101

By registering for this event, you will gain admittance to 2 one-hour sessions - one on October 7, 2020 (which has happened already) and one on October 15, 2020.  Both sessions will run from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.

These sessions will feature information applicable to virtual tradeshows and virtual communications in general. Sessions will feature instruction and robust Q&A with Joshua Jones. Joshua worked for Zoom for several years and developed their corporate education platforms.

These sessions will only touch on information specifically applicable to the SwapCard platform, which is being used by the Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum on December 2 and 3. We will host an event specifically on SwapCard in the future.

In Session 1, you will learn about:

What's really different about an in-person conference and virtual

• Advantages to virtual meetings
• Replacing or substituting the wow factor - level playing field
• Evergreen content - 1 year availability - making content that lasts

Challenges of meeting online - making a personal connection

• Audio/video best practices
• Connectivity best practices

In session 2 you will learn about:

• Content marketing assets, deliverables
• One page per brand - crisp logo, content, resources
• All hands on deck - all of these other resources are here at the same time
• Looking to the future - the event is a content generation trigger
• Virtual and online network may not be the same as that in person - people don't just click in out of curiosity, they are there for more purpose - intentional
• Less traffic, higher value connection
